In 2018 streek Winternights neer in Het Radium (Sphinxkwartier) in Maastricht. Verschillende ruimtes in en om het KunstFront (festivalhart), het LAB-gebouw, de Rubberfabriek en de Gashouder richtten we in als presentatieplekken, ateliers, pitchpodia, bars, hangout of dansvloer.

De volgende makers werden deze editie geselecteerd door SoAP, VIA ZUID, C-TAKT en partners SALLY Dansgezelschap Maastricht, Intro in Situ en FASHIONCLASH:

In 2018 Winternights settled in Het Radium (Sphinxkwartier) in Maastricht. We set up various spaces in and around the KunstFront (festival center), the LAB building, the Rubberfabriek and the Gashouder as presentation areas, studios, pitch stages, bars, hangouts or dance floors.

The following makers were selected this edition by SoAP, VIA ZUID, C-TAKT and partners SALLY Dansgezelschap Maastricht, Intro in Situ and FASHIONCLASH:

Festival Winternights is the initiative of SoAP Maastricht (Space oriented Artistic Practice), VIA ZUID talent development in the performing arts Limburg and the Belgian C-TAKT. The festival presents 'unfinished' projects by atypical makers, artists whose work can not simply be captured by the well-known disciplines. These are choreographers, theater makers, performers, composers, filmmakers and visual artists. Through daring projects they try to develop a new language of form in which the baffles are lifted between performance, installation art, dance and theater. The 2018 edition took place 21 & 22 December 2018 at the former rubber plant in Maastricht. www.winternights.nl
