Festivalhart - Lutherse Kerk – Hondstraat 14

Het festivalhart bevindt zich deze editie in de Lutherse kerk. Ook wel Evangelisch-Lutherse kerk of Duitse kerk genoemd, is een voormalig kerkgebouw aan de Hondstraat in het centrum van Maastricht. Het gebouw uit 1684 heeft ruim drie eeuwen dienstgedaan als kerkgebouw van de Evangelisch-Lutherse gemeente in Maastricht, maar is sinds juni 2013 gesloten. Tijdens Winternights kan je er terecht voor een babbel of een drankje. Maar ook de King Sisters en Rita Bifulco kan je er terugvinden. Daarnaast is de kerk is evenzeer het verzamelpunt voor het werk van Johannes Bellinkx & Benjamin Vandewalle.

Batterijstraat 48

Deze locatie is een gemeentelijk monument en bestaat uit een groot aantal verschillende ruimtes, van grote, variërende ruimtes tot doodnormale kantoorruimtes. Samen met de gehuisveste culturele organisaties stellen we alles in het werk om deze voor het Winternights-weekend om te toveren naar presentatieruimtes. In verschillende ruimtes in de Batterijstraat kan je het werk van Sachit Ajmani, Princess Isatu Hassan Bangura, Birsu Tamer, Jitse Huysmans, Elsa van der Linden, en Roleda Yunus Bilir ontdekken.

Brandweerkantine - Capucijnenstraat 21

De voormalige brandweerkazerne aan de Capucijnenstraat bevindt zich op de grens van de historische binnenstad en het bruisende Sphinxkwartier. Tegenwoordig heeft de kazerne een dynamische, levendige en creatieve invulling onder de naam ‘De Brandweer’. Hier kun je lekker eten, fijn (samen)werken of een ruimte huren voor vergaderingen of events. Tijdens Winternights kan je in de expo-ruimte van het gebouw Ode Dekort terugvinden.

Jan van Eyck Academie - Academieplein 1

De Jan van Eyck Academie is een meervoudig instituut voor beeldende kunst, ontwerp en reflectie is een internationaal post-academisch instituut voor beeldende kunst in de Nederlandse stad Maastricht. Het instituut is gevestigd in een gebouw uit 1958–61 van architect Frits Peutz aan het Academieplein in het Jekerkwartier. Tijdens Winternights vind je hier in de projectruimte het werk van Kevin Trappeniers.

Theater aan het Vrijthof

Het Theater aan het Vrijthof is een theater en concertzaal aan het Vrijthof in het centrum van Maastricht. In dit gebouw vind je tijdens Winternights Elioa Steffen terug.

Mariastraat 13

Aan de Mariastraat 13 in Maastricht bieden de projectruimtes een podium voor cultuur. Op de begane grond is er ruimte voor exposities, lezingen, workshops, optredens en performances. Tijdens Winternights vind je hier Layla Önlen terug.

We verwelkomen je graag in ons ‘warme’ festivalhart in de Lutherse Kerk. Houd er rekening mee dat deze en andere locaties wat koud kunnen zijn.

Festival heart - Lutheran Church – Hondstraat 14

The festival heart this edition is in the Lutheran church. Also called Evangelical Lutheran Church or German Church, it is a former church building on Hondstraat in the center of Maastricht. The building from 1684 has served for more than three centuries as a church building of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Maastricht, but has been closed since June 2013. During Winternights you can go there for a chat or a drink. But you can also find the King Sisters and Rita Bifulco there. The church is also the meeting point for the work of Johannes Bellinkx and Benjamin Vandewalle.

Batterijstraat 48

This location is a municipal monument and consists of a large number of different spaces, from large, varying spaces to ordinary office spaces. Together with the cultural organizations that are housed, we are doing everything we can to transform these into presentation rooms for the Winternights weekend. In various rooms in the Batterijstraat you can see the work of Sachit Ajmani, Princess Isatu Hassan Bangura, Birsu Tamer, Jitse Huysmans, Elsa van der Linden and Roleda Yunus Bilir.

Brandweerkantine - Capucijnenstraat 21

The former fire station on the Capucijnenstraat is located on the border of the historic city center and the bustling Sphinxkwartier. Today, the barracks have a dynamic, lively and creative interpretation under the name 'De Brandweer'. Here you can enjoy good food, work or work together or rent a space for meetings or events. During Winternights you can find Ode Dekort in the exhibition space of the building.

Jan van Eyck Academy - Academieplein 1

The Jan van Eyck Academy is a multiple institute for visual arts, design and reflection is an international post-academic institute for visual arts in the Dutch city of Maastricht. The institute is located in a building from 1958–61 by architect Frits Peutz on the Academieplein in the Jekerkwartier. During Winternights you will find the work of Kevin Trappeniers here in the project space.
