Jitse Huysmans (1991) is theatermaker, performer en actrice, en medeoprichter van Collectief Elan(d). Het collectief creëert speelse performances waarin ontmoeting centraal staat en het publiek een actieve rol krijgt. Met voorstellingen als In Between Spaces, Loving is Allowed en I Think We Need to Talk reisde het gezelschap door België en Nederland. Sinds 2023 fungeert Collectief Elan(d) ook als platform voor zowel collectieve als persoonlijke projecten. Huysmans combineert haar achtergrond als dramatherapeut met haar werk als theatermaker. De helende kracht van kunst vormt daarbij een belangrijk uitgangspunt: in een tijd van polarisering en eenzaamheid zoekt ze naar manieren om mensen met elkaar te verbinden.
SPIJT / Erosie van Tijd is een zintuiglijke installatie waarin bezoekers via klank, ruimte en reflectie worden ondergedompeld in een belevingswereld van herinnering, spijt en nostalgie. De installatie vertrekt vanuit een persoonlijk beeld: de grootmoeder (moemoe) die stilletjes, met gesloten ogen, in haar zetel zit.
Bezoekers betreden een theatrale ruimte waar geluid, stilte en stemmen in elkaar overvloeien. Ze horen verhalen van anderen - fragmenten van leven, gemis en kleine beslissingen - terwijl ze tegelijk worden geconfronteerd met hun eigen herinneringen. De installatie creëert een moment van vertraging: een pauze in de voortdurende stroom van het nu, waarin tijd voelbaar wordt als iets dat zowel vormt als slijt. Zoals erosie het landschap vormgeeft, zo vormt tijd het innerlijke landschap van de mens.
SPIJT / Erosie van Tijd nodigt uit om dat proces niet enkel te begrijpen, maar vooral te ervaren. Tijdens Winternights zal een eerste test met audiomateriaal plaatsvinden.

Jitse Huysmans (born 1991) is a theatre maker, performer, and actress, and co-founder of Collectief Elan(d). The collective creates playful performances that center on encounters, giving the audience an active role. With performances like In Between Spaces, Loving is Allowed, and I Think We Need to Talk, the company has toured Belgium and the Netherlands. Since 2023, Collectief Elan(d) has also served as a platform for both collective and personal projects. Huysmans combines her background as a drama therapist with her work as a theatre maker. The healing power of art is a key starting point: in a time of polarization and loneliness, she seeks ways to connect people.
SPIJT / Erosie van Tijd (REGRET / Erosion of Time) is a sensory installation in which visitors are immersed in a world of memory, regret, and nostalgia through sound, space, and reflection. The installation begins with a personal image: the grandmother (moemoe) sitting quietly, eyes closed, in her armchair.
Visitors enter a theatrical space where sound, silence, and voices merge. They hear the stories of others - fragments of life, loss, and small decisions - while simultaneously confronting their own memories. The installation creates a moment of deceleration: a pause in the constant flow of the present, in which time becomes tangible as something that both shapes and erodes. Just as erosion shapes the landscape, time shapes the inner landscape of humanity.
SPIJT / Erosie van Tijd (REGRET / Erosion of Time) invites us not only to understand this process but above all to experience it. An initial test with audio material will take place during Winternights.
